Lynette Cramb

Art has been a passion of Lynette’s from an early age with many successes as a student artist.  She now enjoys working in all mediums, especially watercolour.  She has been greatly influenced by attending art courses with David Taylor and Herman Pekel.  Lynette has successfully exhibited in art shows throughout Queensland, winning over 70 first placings and 13 Grand Champion of Show prizes since 2002.  In 2005 she was Feature Artist for the Toowoomba Grammar School Art Show, exhibiting 40 works.  She has been involved successfully in many solo and group exhibitions.

Since 2002 Lynette has conducted several workshops with local art groups, and is always eager to share the rewards of working with the exciting and unpredictable medium of watercolour.

For Lynette, now living in the delightful seaside village of Burrum Heads, the constantly changing ocean scenery is a constant source of inspiration and delight.  It adds to her great love for the Australian landscape.

In Lynette’s words:  “People paint for many reasons.  For some, it is a passion and need to express the gift of creativity.  For others, a painting can express their deepest feelings.  A painting can become a gift of beauty and pleasure to the viewer.  I love to paint for all those reasons and more.”
